Experiencing the Festival of Harvest in a traditional way !! Little Kids @ Appy Kidz (all 3 branches) visited Shivanvoil village to celebrate “Gramathu Pongal” , a highly revered harvest festival celebrated across Tamil Nadu to mark the harvesting of crops by farmers.. This field trip event is organised every year by Appy Kidz during the pongal season to let our kids experience/explore the Pongal Celebration in a village. On this trip, our kids learned and observed how paddy crops are grown and harvested. Finally the trip ended with cooking & eating delicious Ven pongal(rice pudding) and Sweet Pongal(sweet rice pudding) on the Paddy field. A Field trip to remember and cherish our culture and tradition.
